Ozone has been in the service of humanity for 167 years since its discovery by the German chemist C.F. Schönbein in 1840. It was first used on a large scale to heal the wounded during the First World War. But it could only be applied locally. Thanks to the efforts of doctors interested in the subject, devices were developed in the 1960s that allowed it to be administered into the body, and after that, research on ozone accelerated, revealing that ozone has a very wide therapeutic range. Russia, Cuba, Germany, and Italy have been pioneers in this regard.

However, realizing that these studies were a serious threat to the pharmaceutical market (if ozone could be widely used, the amount of drugs used in the world would be less than half), big pharmaceutical companies and organizations led by the FDA, which is mostly made up of their top officials, have tried to ban ozone studies in the past in the United States. Some researcher doctors received threats and spent time in prison. I think this information can be an answer to those who say "well, if ozone therapy is so effective, why is it not as widespread as it should be, and we are just hearing about it."

We should also add to this the rigid approach of orthodox (today's modern western medicine) medicine that ignores those who are not themselves. If some of our doctor friends take off their blinders and put aside their prejudices, they can see that; in fact, ozone therapy is intertwined with modern medicine, has the same foundations, and its therapeutic efficacy provides benefits far above classical drug treatments in some diseases. It is especially effective in the treatment of patients who have not found benefit with chronic or classical drug treatments.

After traveling around a lot of doctors, most of those who hear and receive treatment by chance may be surprised by the rapid improvement of their disease, which they thought would not heal. Because ozone therapy eliminates the factors that cause the disease by providing the balance that is disturbed at the cellular level and treats many diseases at the same time from the basis. Of course, a therapeutic tool with these properties is also ultrapreventive (high efficacy disease-protective).

When I first encountered ozone therapy, I was surprised how we, as a doctor of 20 years, were not aware of such an important treatment tool in the face of such versatile healing effects. Moreover, when ozone was used by the right people, the side effect rate was zero. Fortunately, in recent years, with intensive clinical research all over the world, ozone, whose mechanisms of action are more understood, has begun to take more place in medical service. As I researched it, it became clear that it can be used successfully in more diseases.

Ozone therapy is used in nearly 300 diseases today as an adjunct to other treatments, as well as being used as the main treatment. It is also recognized as the most effective anti-aging method in the world for healthy people. In the near future, as more doctors and patients are informed about this issue and understand its value, we will begin to hear and use ozone more and more.
